Chapter President Stan Wills (in uniform to the right) with 2nd graders at
Freeman Elementary School near Rockford, WA, during their "wax museum" of U.S. Presidents On February 19, 2010, Chapter President Stan Wills went to Freeman Elementary School near Rockford, WA to assist in their wax museum of Presidents. Each 2nd grader portrayed one of the Presidents and pretended to be a wax figure. He had a round sticker on his hand (button to push). When you pushed the button, he/she would stand up and talk about the President. When you pushed Stan's button he would talk about the Founding Fathers. Mostly they wanted to know about the musket and sword. "Were they real?" Over 200 people were there. Here are some pictures. Stan is the big kid in the back row. It was really cool. |
