The Washington State Society SAR is composed of members in four chapters, listed to the left. Another chapter is in the process or organizing in the Kitsap County area to serve the Olympic Peninsula. Another chapter is proposed for the Vancouver area. There are enough members in the Tri-Cities area (Richland, Kennewick & Pasco) to form a chapter there when leadership is identified. The Washington State Society SAR, or WASSAR as it known to its members, is governed by an Executive Board consisting primarily of officers elected annually by the membership.
